Eating Disorder Family Coaching

Supporting a loved one with an eating disorder is hard. As a parent, it can feel like your child has become a different person, and you are often the target of their anger and sadness. As a partner, you might feel as if the joy has drained from your relationship.

Parents and other supporters of individuals with eating disorders often don’t know where to begin when it comes to being an ally in recovery. We will talk about the best and worst language to use when discussing food and body image, and how you yourself can model positive behaviors.

There are no dumb questions, and there is no minimum or maximum number of appointments you are required to schedule. This is your space to ask questions and receive advice, guidance, and evidence-based resources to help that person in your life overcome this difficult illness (and they will!).
