Eating Disorder Treatment

Imagine waking up feeling at home in your body. Imagine looking forward to dinner with your friend and ordering exactly what you want off the menu. You can live a life without your eating disorder, and you are capable of the work it takes to get there.

It is one of my life missions to deconstruct and debunk the messages and myths of an increasingly toxic diet culture that have caused many of us to perpetually feel “not good enough” in our healthy bodies. After working as a personal and group therapist in Partial hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs at Center for Discovery, I shifted focus to supporting clients with negative body image and disordered eating in an outpatient setting. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques to help you find and strengthen your healthy self. You’re in the right place, and I look forward to walking with you on the path towards freedom.

And I said to my body, softly, “I want to be your friend”. It took a long breath and replied, “I’ve been waiting my whole life for this.”
